Do you believe that Clegg is a huge electoral et for the lib dems and the country?
Let me see now, the Libdems dropped to sixth place in the Barnsley by election and lost their deposit, so that counts out him being an et to the Libdem party. As for benefitting the country, I haven't seen one policy implemented that has hit the wealthiest people in the country. The bankers are carrying on as before, as are the tax dodgers. The people being made to suffer the pain of the cuts are the ordinary men and women who already struggle to make ends meet, those on benefits, single parents, the disabled, the sick, children and pensioners to name but a few, will all have services slashed, lose libraries, have the NHS privatised, care for the elderly cut, citizens advice beureaus shut, help to get back into work abolished, a million more on the dole and Surestart centres closed. Petrol prices are shooting up and inflation is rising. The banks will raise interest rates soon which will be good news for those with plenty of money as the interest will be much better, but if you have a mortgage then you will be far worse off. Clegg is party to everything that is happening, so there goes his being an et for the country. He is deputy PM by name, but has no power whatsoever and is basically Camerons fag.
