I have a Basque Surname?

Are you just relying on your surname origin or have you cited doentation which proves Basque ancestry? As it sounds like you presume your ancestry is basque because of your surname and that is just not so, my surname is French and I have no French ancestry at all, which I know because I have full cited doents of my ancestry back several generations.............................…
