Question of curiosity about being born gay?

I'm gay or if you will and I know I was born that way. As much as this may be a hot topic, I just wanna know, if you're born gay what is the probability that it could be hereditary or at the least in the genes? I have metroual cousins and I know gays are everywhere in my country and I mean LITERALLY just undercover because it's illegal in my state. So what are chances that I have other gay relatives and my future kid being born gay? Cause I'm not sure about the 1 in 10 theory being entirely credible. Can someone who's knowledgable in the area enlighten me?
