My toyota avalon 2007 with jbl synthesis 12 speakers is not bringing out any voice but you observe the cd play?

also the volume knobs does not respond and even the remote volume ons by the steering wheel does not respond pls what do i do any suggestion i am thinking it might be the amplifier or maybe there is something i am doing wrong nobody here seems capable of solving the mystery
