Why do so many people pretend race doesn't exist?

Don't they read any science? With a DNA test, a COMPUTER can now accurately identify your race. ALMOST NO ONE shows up as "mixed" because one set of genes is almost nearly dominant over another. Why does no one know this? Are they not only blind to what anyone can see with their own eyes, but also completely scientifically illiterate?
